Earth’s moon has inspired the science of Astronomy itself; our forefathers who were living in the wilderness; started observing the Sun and Moon. They assumed Moon as equal and counterpart of the Sun, They made calendar based on Moon’s phases. Moon made not only physically but also an emotional and stimulating deep impact on cultures of Human civilization. Moon is an integral part of our Trillions poetry and Millions Fairy tales.
Moon started the Space Race – A Race that boosted Astronomy and space exploration, After several unmanned missions, On 12 July 1969 first humans landed on Moon and till now total 12 Astronauts visited there.
Now what’s going on the Moon?, Are we going to make a Human colony on moon? A permanent space station on moon for launching further exploration mission.

Evidence of Water Ice on Moon confirmed by NASA
The image shows the distribution of surface ice at the Moon’s south pole (left) and north pole (right), detected by NASA’s Moon Mineralogy Mapper instrument. Blue represents the ice locations, plotted over an image of the lunar surface, where the gray scale corresponds to surface temperature (darker representing colder areas and lighter shades indicating warmer zones). The ice is concentrated at the darkest and coldest locations, in the shadows of craters. This is the first time scientists have directly observed definitive evidence of water ice on the Moon’s surface. Credits: NASA
Scientists directly observed definitive evidence of water ice on Moon’s Polar region. Most of the Ice on Moon’s South pole is concentrated at craters, while ice is scattered at North pole. Read more
