Who was Prophet Isaiah
For all three Abrahamic Religions Judaism, Christianity & Islam, Isaiah was one of the Prophet of the God. He was the Son of “Amoz” and chief advisor of the Jewish King Hezekeih, who ruled Jerusalem between 727 – 698 BC. Book of Isaiah is a part of Hebrew Bibal and Old Testament. When Assyrian army attacked the holy land of Jerusalem, Prophet Isaiah advised and encouraged King Hezekiah to stand firm against them. He gave prophetic declarations about coming of Messiah, Jesus Christ & Mohammed (P.B.U.H.)
The seal of the Prophet
Archaeologist Eilat Mazar disclosed about her thrilling discovery in Biblical Archaeology Review, Mazar is associated with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
“We appear to have discovered a seal impression, which may have belonged to the prophet Isaiah, in a scientific archeological excavation” said Eilat Mazar author of the paper.
“If it is the case that this bulla is indeed that of the prophet Isaiah, then it should not come as a surprise to discover this bulla next to one bearing king Hezekiah’s name given the symbiotic relationship of the prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah described in the Bible”
The precious Seal of Prophet Isaiah called ‘bulla’ found in an ancient fortified area located at the base of the southern wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It is found just three meters away from the Seal of King Hezekiah of Judah found earlier in 2015.
0.4 inches in dia; Bulla the clay seal bears the Name of prophet Isaiah, but the bad news is; it’s broken, only half of it is recovered.
2700 year old Seal has “Yesha’yah” in Hebrew and after that only three letters “NVY” is imprinted on the clay. These three letters are the first three letters of word “Prophet” in Hebrew.
You may doubt that, it may belong to some other person named Isaiah at that time, but two facts…. One; that it is found near the kings Hezekiah seal and second; that only the persons of high status used ‘Bullah’ at that time, makes this discovery reliable.
It is the first evidence of the Prophet Isaiah other than Religious Texts such as Bible.
It is found that it reveres side of this seal has imprint of weave; it was imprinted on some packet covered with cloth and then marked by fingerprint. Possibility is that Prophet Isaiah himself sealed the cloth and it is his own fingerprints remains.
The Painful Death of Prophet Isaiah
Although we did not finds any details about the death of Prophet Isaiah in Bible, Quran or any other major religious text… The Talmud (central text of Rabbinic Judaism) says that he suffered martyrdom by being sawn in two under the orders of King Manasseh.
Islamic reference books has a similar details of his martyrdom, many Islamic reference says that Prophet Isaiah (Zakaria) was the guardian of Holy Mary daughter of Imran a jewish righteous and pious man. This makes the timeline of Prophet Isaiah very close to Jesus Christ…..Archeologist should consider these references of Prophet Isaiah. The King Hezekiah was a righteous man and listened the advice of Prophet Isaiah, however he was unable to control the turbulence in Israel, After the death of Hezekiah, Prophet Isaiah told the people not to forsake God, and warned them to cease from sins and disobedience but this angered the people; they martyred the prophet in a very painful death; sawn in two pieces, when he was hiding inside a giant tree trunk.
